Free Crochet Pattern- Alpine Stitch Dish Cloth
Wow it’s been a crazy few weeks!!! For those that do not know- We had a Tropical storm come through our area that saturated the ground, heavily. Then 10 days later, Hurricane Helene!! We spent quite a while without power, Wifi, cell signals, and everything else that goes with it. Because of that I was unable to get September’s Dish cloth pattern to you!!

But, I’m happy to share this new stitch with you! The Alpine stitch is another great stitch that creates texture by alternating post stitches. It looks so much more complex than it truly is. I’m confident that you will enjoy this one as much as I do!
Join me as we explore the Alpine stitch working up a dish cloth and future patterns.
The stitch diagram below shows the stitch/row repeat. You can see from the diagram the sifting of the stitches. It’s amazing how adding or subtracting a stitch here or there can create a different look!!
