Loom Set Up
Mark pegs in sets of 2 for the rib stitch.
Make 2
1. Chain cast on to loom the opposite way you are comfortable working ( I.E. if you are comfortable looming clockwise then you should cast on counterclockwise when using the chain cast on)
2. Work FK2, P2 rib stitch for 2”
3. Work garter stitch until the piece measures 11” – E-Wrap one round, purl the next
4. FK for 2 additional inches
5. EW one round
6. Start Cast-Off Sequence-
One round of FK (Loosely)
Move Stitch from peg 4 to 3, 8 to 7, 12 to 11, 16 to 15, 20 to 19, 24 to 23
One round of FK; place working yarn behind empty pegs. Treat all pegs with 2 stitches as 1
Move Stitch from peg 2 to 1, 6 to 5, 10 to 9, 14 to 13, 18 to 17, 22 to 21
One round of FK; place working yarn behind empty pegs. Treat all pegs with 2 stitches as 1.
You should now have 1 stitch on every other peg. Wrap the working yarn around the loom 2 times and cut the yarn. Using your looming tool, pull yarn through every other stitch on the loom; pulling off as you go. Continue in this manner until all pegs are empty. Turn the sock inside out and pull the working yarn snug to close the toe. Weave in ends!
